unusual feeling of discomfort arising from the impairment of an
organ, its part, muscle, nerve , blood vessel or any discomfort
arising from an abnormal growth of cells any where in the

Types of abdominal
pain
Depending
upon the cause, origin, location, severity, impacts and many
other factors, the abdominal pain may be classified into the
following
Acute
abdominal pain: is the pain inflicted due to a recent injury or
impairment of an organ. It is a blessing in disguise and guides
us about the suitable corrective and preventive measures. For
example ,it guides to keep our limbs, essentially in a
specific posture in case of a fracture, so allowing us to
keep the fractured skeletal parts in correct alignment even
though, we may not have the least idea of the skeletal
system.

Chronic

injury or impairment of one or more organs, muscles, nerves or
abnormal cells and which lingers on and has not ceased
even after some treatment.
Acquired
Abdominal Pain is the pain in abdomen caused by the impairment
of or under influence of one or more organs not located in the
abdominal cavity.
Referred
abdominal pain This type of abdominal pain has its origin in
abdominal organs, but impacts the organs, not located in the
abdominal cavity.
Other
abdominal Pains; may be fatigue due to overuse of muscles,
neuropathic when nerve endings get inflamed or cause pain in
extremities, Vascular ;when on account of elevated blood
pressure or general when caused by an injury or a
wound.
Abdominal
pain causes
- Over
use of muscles through laborious work or strenuous work up
or a muscular injury in the abdominal cavity may cause pain
in it.
- Psychopathic causes like fear of
exam, a presentation in public, or a bad news may trigger
and inflict abdominal pain, mostly in the gastro intestinal
tract.
- Presence of an extraneous matter or a
physical, chemical or biological hazard may also cause
abdominal pain. Examples are Gall bladder stone,
indeliberate or accidental swallowing of metal or
stone.
- Pressure exerted by the presence of gas,
swelling of an organ or development of a benign or

the abdominal pain. They cause gastro intestinal diseases
like infectious colitis, haemorregic dysentery and many
infections of Gastro intestinal tract, mostly by E.Coli or
other members of enterobacteriacea, food poisoning by
commensals like Staphylococcus aureus; the golden
staph .
- Malignancy or cancer is very painful if
the tumor develops in any organ, contained in the abdominal
cavity and if remains untreated for some time, allowing the
cancerous cells invade the surrounding cells or enter lymph
nodes, blood vessles, muscular tissues or spread in other
body parts.
Pain is
a manageable symptom of diseases.
